Zac Efron and Sami Miro News: Couple decided to split after two years of dating

Zac Efron and Sami Miro split! After less than two years of dating, they have decided to part ways leaving everyone astonished!

As source tells HollywoodLife.com "Zac is finally getting to a place in Hollywood where he wants to be. With big tent-poles like Baywatch and Neighbors 2 coming down the line he can now start picking roles that get him to a different place in Hollywood."

"He always has wanted to be the next Leo DiCaprio and he hopes now that he has the box office behind him that producers and directors will start giving him more chances other than the lame romantic comedies he gets pitched every five minutes," the source continued. The problem is that all of that work has him super busy. Like, too busy for his girlfriend Sami.

E! News reports, they did not have the same feelings for each other as they did when they first started dating. Ultimately Zac was the one who pulled the plug on the relationship, adding that "the spark had died."

Another source explains, "It wasn't an easy breakup. Distance and work schedules got in the way with their relationship and Zac wanted to focus on his career."

But while the two may no longer be a couple, they will remain good friiends.

The couple came into light after an interview with Elle magazine last year.

"It kind of just comes with the territory, and I know there's no really changing that, so you just have to embrace it," Sami Miro shared.

"If I was dating someone who wasn't in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it's important. I mean, it's what is going on in my life, and I think that my social can still represent that."
