The nineteenth episode of ABC's "Once Upon a Time" was aptly titled "Sisters" as it culminated in a bittersweet reunion for sisters Regina-Zelena and their mother, Cora.

The episode began with a date between Hades and Zelena where Hades hopes to follow her to the real Storybrooke, but in order to live together, he will have to imprison Regina, Emma and other heroes in the Underworld. Meanwhile, Zelena is oblivious that Regina is spying on her with a magic mirror.

She hopes that Hades would change in her company the way Regina's boyfriend Robin Hood did. Regina knows this and tells other superheroes about the problem of her sister. She also concludes that it is only their mother Cora who can bring Zelena out of this toxic relationship.

After a while, Regina goes into a flashback. She remembers how her mother would leave her alone, letting her unsupervised and she would go exploring magic in a bid to turn her doll into real sister. When the magic backfired, lending her unconscious, the mother had to call Zelena to wake her up.

However, Cora does not tell Regina that Zelena is her sister, but they grow close and after some time, they realize that they are related in some way. Cora later admits to Regina about their sisterhood, but separates the sisters and wipes off their memories.

Meanwhile, Cora is freed from her bonded manual labor and Regina tells her everything about Hades and Zelena. Cora feels that Hades is manipulating Zelena and therefore, to separate them, she prepares a potion that will wipe Hades' memory forever.

After that Cora comes to Zelena and introduces herself. She apologizes for abandoning her and tries to give her the potion-laden-drink but she denies it and chides her mother. After some clashes, she is able to reunite the sisters, restores their childhood memories and decides to move on.

Zelena also moves ahead to meet Hades, but is interrupted by Rumple who brings her to his father Peter Pan. This is when the episode ends with Peter throwing a cloak on her.
