The notably acclaimed developers with their gamers prominent like Bastion which was a huge hit in their respective game domain are all set to release a new game with "Pyre". This is their latest and new title from the Supergiant games. Pyre will be a RPG and the developer terms it "party based". It will however carry on the isometric look and vivid art direction that Supergiant are known from way earlier.

Pyre is supposed to be arriving in 2016 and will be simultaneously available for PS4 and the PC master race. "In Pyre, you lead a band of exiles through an ancient competition spread across a vast, mystical purgatory," the company wrote in a blog post. That ancient competition is known as Rites, and the character you will inhibit knows a little about the secretive event. As it helps the "worthiest exiles" be cleared of any transgressions, you will be making the journey across the Downside - that's what the land is called in Pyre: meeting all sorts of other characters on your way.

"[The game] showcases our team's commitment to rich atmospheric presentation and storytelling, along with a distinctive gameplay blend that combines expressive decision-making on the world map with fast, action-packed confrontations against rival groups of exiles whose own freedom is at stake. We want to create a large cast of characters you can grow close to as you travel together across a strange and wondrous land," Supergiant added.

In their one-and a half minute video teaser, not much could be made out of, but however the game really looks intriguing. If you are lucky and can be present at PAX, you might as well be one of the first testers for the game.
