How Did Kourtney Kardashian Get Her Toned Body?
What exactly did Kourtney Kardashian do in order to get her highly toned body into shape? She hasn't been secretive about it, even though she split with her boyfriend with whom she had an affair for almost 10 years. She broke up with Scott Disick last summer.
The 37-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has revealed that it is not only important to keep the body fit and exercised, but that it is also important to "treat one's insides well."
She is highly inspired by her sister Khloe. "I know for my body, I need four to five days a week of working out," she explained. "Khloé and I really push each other to do that."
Hence, apart from her rigorous workout regimen for the past two months, she said that she also cut out all gluten and dairy products.
"I think what you put into your body with food and how much water you drink...I think it's just as important what you put inside as what you put on your skin," she said. "So right this second, we're doing gluten-free, dairy-free and so are my kids. We're doing six weeks."
Kardashian's children---Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 1, are therefore following her diet, and are not finding it too tough to replace the dairy products.
"There are so many milk and cheese options, so that hasn't been as hard. But they're gluten-free, too, and that's been really hard," she said. "Once you figure out the things that you can and can't have, it makes it much easier. I think we're finally starting to find some things that are good. I've found some bakeries that bake chocolate chip cookies - you know, different stuff - so we're not totally missing out."
Kardashian is also exercising very hard to get her body into shape.
"I think I take time for myself now to work out every day, which I never did - especially having three young kids," Kardashian said. "I just never made it a priority, and now it just makes me feel so much better - mentally and physically, just to really take that time."
