Baywatch Movie News Update: With Pamela Anderson on Board, Baywatch Set to Rock Once Again!

All Baywatch fans take heed since Pamela Anderson is back to the place which made her famous. Yes, the beaches! The actress has reportedly agreed to be a part of the Baywatch movie being directed by Jake Kasdan. 

Pamela, who played C.J. Parker in the original show, will now be a part of the movie as well. According to reports, the movie will also star Dwayne Johnson, Kelly Rohrbach, Zac Efron and Priyanka Chopra.

Recently, Dwayne Johnson took to the social media platform, Instagram where he posted a picture of himself with Pamela and expressed the team's happiness since Pamela had become a part of the cast. He added that Pamela was smoking hot as always!

Pamela was pretty surprised when she heard about the Baywatch movie and was asked to be a part of the cast. She had actually never thought that the popular show would come to the silver screen.

The wrestler turned actor had been a part of the project since it was announced. He was later joined in by the other cast members. Dwayne's career in the movies so far has not been box office hits, but his on-screen persona is such that people do come to the theaters to watch him.  

Apart from Pamela, another veteran from the original Baywatch cast, who would also be seen in the movie is David Hasselhoff. His inclusion in the movie was confirmed a year back. He will also be seen donning the life guard gears.

Pamela's character, C.J. Parker was an iconic one of the generation and the movie will see Kelly Rohrbach playing the same. And, David Hasselhoff's character, Mitch Buchanon will be portrayed by Dwayne. However, nothing about Pamela's character has been revealed so far.

The movie is set to hit theaters on May 17, 2017.
