Super Excited Couple Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder at the Kiehl's Earth Day event

'The Twilight Saga' actor Nikki Reed is super excited as her wedding anniversary approaches. She married 'The Vampire Dairies' star Ian Somerhalder on April 26 last year in a small ceremony in Topanga Canyon, Calif. Today, their life together is as 'full of life' as ever.

The perfect couple happened to share E! News some important aspects of their day.

"Our household is very busy all the time, No boring conversations at dinner." Reed said to Sibley Scoles at the Kiehl's Earth Day event.

It was an appropriate event to discuss the pair as both actors are passionate activists, particularly regarding animal rights and environmentalism.

"You can tell by the crowd that a lot of people feel familiar in this kind of environment talking about this stuff," she added about the occasion, which is in its eighth year. "It's a wonderful thing that Kiehl's is...focusing on the importance of recycling and also making that accessible for young people."

It was a perfect occasion to ask Reed if she and her husband had any plans for their own future young people. When asked her about the possibility of them having little ones later on, she said "I'm sure that's in the cards."

If and when they have babies of their own, we already know they plan on imparting their passions for animals and the environment on to the next generation as their parents did with them.

He said that they would enstill similar idealogy in their children that was done by their parents.

"One would hope that anyone that has this passion...would enstill in their own children or of the like very similar ideology," Somerhalder.

Since 1851, Kiehl's has been in business.100% of net profits, up to $50,000, from this eighth Earth Day campaign will benefit Recycle Across America.
