Max Payne Release Date on PS4 Revealed

The Quantum break was exclusive to the PC master race and Xbox one. But the classic Max Payne might all set to be re-released for PS4 after all. According to the rumors, the date is set and it will be launching for the PlayStation consoles this 22nd. Sony's European PlayStation blog has confirmed that the game will be arriving but did not mention any further details. The PS2 classic seems like will arrive only to the European base for now with no equivalent mentions for US store. However, the fans can expect the visuals to be upscaled for full-HD displays with better textures and trophy supports etc.

Max Payne is a man with nothing to lose in the violent, cold urban night. A fugitive undercover cop framed for murder, and now hunted by cops and the mob. Max is a man with his back against the wall, fighting a battle he cannot hope to win. Prepare for a new breed of deep action game. "Prepare for pain".

Developed by Remedy Entertainment and produced by 3D Realms, this stylish, urban, revenge-driven action game is set in New York's grimy underground. Max Payne is an original third-person 3D game based on the groundbreaking MAX-FX engine, and uses photo-digitized textures and lighting, resulting in heart-stopping, photo-realistic visuals and breath taking movie-quality effects as Max Payne fights his way to uncover the truth.

This would be a massive letdown for PS North-American users with a move like this considering how vital it is for Sony to stay in competition from their not-really rivals but longtime competitors Xbox. Considering how Microsoft decided to bring exclusivity to their new game, it might be a moment of frustration since if this is only released for the European users, it might induce a lot of pressure from the gamers to actually accuse Sony of regionalizing their games than making it public for all of them.
