Steven Universe' season 3 spoilers and news: Rebecca Sugar Insinuates a Musical Episode

Just a few months are left for "Steven Universe" Season 3 to air on Cartoon Network. Rebecca Sugar, series creator, revealed recently that there will be an episode on the show that will be completely musical. Is Peridot going to merge into another gem?

Show spoilers note that Peridot will fuse with another gem on the upcoming Cartoon Network series. Rebecca Sugar revealed in an interview with Comic News that there will be an entire musical episode in Season 3.

Sugar added that music has a special place in "Steven Universe" and also explains how the songs give the episodes its direction and what needs to be included. Sugar said that the songs for the show will be written first and then storyboard artists will introduce these aspects to the writers, who will later build it into a story.

Sugar also said that in "Steven Universe" season 3, fans will be able to enjoy as many as seven songs in 11 minutes. Shelby Rabara, Peridot's voice on the show, will also do a tap dance. "There's a scene with tap dancing, and when you hear it it's actually Shelby dancing," she said.

According to reports, Peridot will fuse with another gem in season 2 of the show since dancing often causes them to fuse. Fans remember how Peridot almost fused with Garnet in the episode "Log Date."

Meanwhile, it has also been reported that some of the most famous love storis on the show will translated into children's book. Reports indicate that Sugar will retell the story of Ruby and Sapphire through a book, "The Answer."

Season 3 of the show will premiere in June this year on Cartoon Network.
