Tech buffs are currently salivating for the arrival of Samsung's new phablet flagship of the Note series, the Galaxy Note 6, following the immense successful release of Samsung Galaxy S7 and its variant. As swirling rumors heightens everyone's excitement over the South Korean-made device, latest roundups are bringing fans a bunch of reasons to get excited.

In a recently obtained screenshot revealed by Phone Arena, Note 6 reportedly has 5. 77-inch screen coupled with 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution. Furthermore, the phablet is said it to be fitted with Exynos 8890 chipset with a generous 6GB RAM offering plus a 32GB internal memory. Compared to its predecessor, the new device is designed to have longer battery life (3, 700 mAH) than Note 5 (3,000 mAH).

Also, Ecumenical News reported that Galaxy Note 6 is also armed with 12 MP rear camera with interesting features like autofocus, optical image stabilization and LED flash. Its front camera has 5 MP resolution.

In addition to the abovementioned features and specs, Note 6 will also be the first model in the Note lineup to include a dust and water resistant package with IP68 certification following a similar stamp on Galaxy S7 according to Parent Herald. Aesthetically speaking, the phablet will have a similar design as the Galaxy S7 and Note 5 albeit a slightly bigger size and weight.

If rumors prove accurate, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is expected to hit the market in the second half of the year, likely around August. But there are indications that the slated release would be sooner with some reports suggesting a launching sometime in July, Neurogadget reported.

Also, rumors have been flying across China's microblogging version of Twitter called Weibo saying that the Note 6 might also have several variants although the claim is largely doubtful in the absence of credible insider sources or confirmation from Samsung.
