Kmusic News: Lee Hi speaks up on her kiss scene
On April 20, Singer Lee Hi has an interview regarding her new album 'Seoulite'.
Lee Hi speaks up about the filming of her music video "My Star". She reveals that she's having difficulties while shooting her kiss scene in her MV for her new title track. She shared that the kiss scene was spontaneous. Suppose the original layout will just a kiss on the cheek, but the directors make some changes.
Lee Hi says, "I had difficulties because there was a kiss scene in this MV".
Lee Hi added, "The first day of filming was the first day we [Rapper One] met, and the directors came up with the kiss scene idea right on the spot that day. The two directors seemed to really agree on it. In the end, after the kiss scene, it took three more days for us to become comfortable with each other. It was so awkward to film the kiss scene on the first day." (allkpop)
Meanwhile, Lee Hi's album gained outstanding recognition for topping charts not only in Korea but also in several countries; #1 on iTunes Album Chart in Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam. Also takes 57th place in U.S. (allkpop)
The album is consist of 6 tracks, the same as Lee Hi's half album 'Seoulite' with the tracks "breathe" and "hold my hand", the new release is in collaborations with big stars. Tablo, DEE.P, and Rebecca Johnson are part of the album as they composed "Blues", while most of the tracks are also composed by Tablo.

Lee Hi is known as the runner-up of SBS's K-pop Star Season 1. Her debut single "1.2.3.4", was released on October 28, 2012 and reached No. 1 with first-week sales of 667,549 downloads.
