Now that we know NBA2K17 is coming this September, fans are eager to see sneak peaks of the game.

"When will they show off the features? Any features you guys would like to see in it?" wrote one Reddit user. Another user responded that the next 2KTV episode could provide a preview of the game. That however has not stopped fans from speculating or making demands.

Some suggested that 2K should let them carry forward stuff from previous editions of the game like customizations done, while hoped more save slots would be included. Such features were seen in Madden and Fifa games.

The legend edition of the game will feature Kobe Bryant on its cover. Bryant played his last game a few days ago and retired after playing basketball for 20 years with LA Lakers. According to Polygon, the edition will feature special Kobe-themed memorabilia and is expected to retail at $79.99.

After 2K announced it was putting Bryant on the cover, fans discussed the move. While many called it a fitting tribute, others pointed out that the game-maker always puts out the popular players on the cover, who may not necessarily be fan favorites. Others pointed by Kobe was on 2K13 cover as well and wondered who others could have made it.

Speculation about the game was doing the rounds many months ago when one post pointed out that rapper Drake would score for this year's release given that his music has been featured earlier.
