“Maze Runner” Ki Hong Lee might make a debut in a Korean Film

Better known as Minho in "Maze Runner" series, Korean-American actor Ki Hong Lee might soon make his debut in Korean movies.

Palette Pictures, Production Company offered the actor to be part of an upcoming film "Special Citizen". They confirmed on April 18. However, they stated that Ki Hong Lee hasn't decided yet about his appearance of the said movie. (allkpop)

The movie "Special Citizen" is directed by Park In Je, who directed the 2011 "Mobi Dick". "Special Citizen" is expected to start its filming in the latter of July.

Ki Hong Lee rise his popularity because of the American film "Maze Runner". He's been part of the casting since the first sequel of the movie "Maze Runner" then followed by "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" and expected to continue the film in the next series "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure" that will soon released in 2017. The actor is currently making his regular appearance on the   Netflix series "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."

Because of the immense popularity of the movie series "The Maze Runner", the actor acquired praises and acknowledgements for being a part of an American movie despite being Asian. His character also caught the attention of the viewers, as considered to be "an Asian kid with strong arms and short black hair" due to his good shape and figure. He portrays characteristics like very sarcastic, hotheaded, sassy and impulsive, but at the same time charming, smart, and loyal towards his friend, which make lady viewers to feel attracted to him.

If Ki Hong Lee will cast in the upcoming movie "Special Citizen", he is said to play as a son of a powerful politician who has studied abroad. Along with the stars Choi Min Sik, Kwak Do Won, and Shim Eun Kyung. (Soompi)
