NBA News: Stephen Curry Not Sure To Play For Game 2

Current NBA MVP title holder and Golden State Warrior's menacing three-point scorer is currently tagged as 'questionable' after injuring his ankle in Warrior's 104-78 victory over Rockets in the opening salvo of their Western Conference playoffs last Sunday.

Curry headed to the locker room before halftime for a brief examination of his sprained ankle. He then came back to play the first 2:47 of the third quarter before head coach Steve Kerr immediately took his prized asset off the court after calling a timeout.

"I didn't like the way he was moving when he went back out for the third quarter," Kerr said as reported by Stuff. "He wanted to stay in but he wasn't moving well so we weren't going to play him regardless."

Although being barred from playing, Curry insists that he would return in earnest to lead his team on Game 2 of the series.

"Right now, don't see a scenario where I'll be out. Obviously, if it's not right and I'm at risk of further injury or whatnot, that's the only thing that we'll have to worry about," an injured Curry said as quoted by ESPN.

"Pain tolerance and all that stuff, I kind of know what I can deal with on the court. But you don't want anything more serious to happen, favoring an ankle or whatnot. So that's what we'll kind of pay attention to the next two days."

However, Kerr is understandably making sure his star player would have just enough time to recuperate in time for games where he is needed most. For now, he insisted the rest of the Warriors team to keep their ferocious gameplay for Game 2 while Stephen Curry is rehabilitating.

"Oh, yeah, for sure," coach Steve Kerr further said as quoted by NBA.com. He continued, "When Steph's out, our guys understand that he's not there to count on, so they have to execute. If they don't, we're just not going to score enough points.
