HTC 10: Some interesting Specs about HTC's new flagship

HTC brought out their new high-end flagship the HTC 10 on Tuesday as a competitor to Samsung's Galaxy S7 and edge along with LG's G5. Pending announcement to the launch of their phone in the Indian market, it will approximately cost the users around 700$ in the United states. The matter of overpricing their latest flagship is yet to be estimated. Because the phone has been equipped with hardware which can be termed a "flagship".

The HTC 10's design is inspired by light and sculpted to perfection, says the company. The 10 still looks all too familiar with the front design looking more or less like the A9. The HTC 10 has distinct chamfers making it the first phone from HTC to have stand-out edges. It comes with a 5.2-inch QuadHD super LCD 5 display with a 2560 x 1440 pixels' resolution. It is 30 per cent more colorful and 50 per cent more responsive to touch than its predecessor, says the company. The phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 secured on the front and a physical home button also uses a fingerprint scanner.

The device is now powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal memory also expandable by up to 2TB via microSD card. Another variant is also there with a 3GB ram and a 32GB internal memory with Snapdragon's 652. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Sense UI. Unlike the UI in the One A9 the HTC 10 has more of a free-layout.

The phone comes with a 12-ultra pixel camera on the back with f/1.8 aperture, laser autofocus, optical image stabilization and dual LED flash. The HTC 10 has same sensor as the Nexus devices but a different lens. The rear camera now also supports RAW format and 4K video recording. A 5-megapixel camera on the front also facilitates OIS and auto-focus. The HTC 10 houses BoomSound Hi-Fi with Dolby Audio.
