'Fear The Walking Dead' Preview: 'We All Fall Down'
The season two premiere of "Fear the Walking Dead" seems to reinforce the point, that even as the primary characters may not be able to swim, they may be able to float along in the open ocean. Still, there seems to be no safe zone in this new world order.
The heroes are worried about not only external but internal threats too. Colman Domingo's Victor Strand said previously that anyone differing from his techniques needed to get off.
In the coming Sunday's second episode of season two ("We All Fall Down"), the theory gains ground. When the group comes ashore, it gets some shelter with a survivalist family. Madison (Kim Dickens) suspects the family's true motivations, even as Daniel (Ruben Blades) suspects everyone, especially Strand.
The best way to survive is to keep a safe distance from the zombies of the world. One family resorts to some creative methods for the safety of their loved ones.
Last season, the zombie virus spread slowly. Now Travis (Cliff Curtis) finds that the U.S. military has laid waste yet another major city in order to contain the spread. Characters are understanding that life would change.
At the end of the last episode, Strand had become suspicious of Alicia's boat. He wonders who the other people were. Are they friend or foe? If "The Walking Dead" universe has taught us anything it's that everyone is an enemy. Strand seems to be the only one who understands that concept so far.
"Fear the Walking Dead" airs Sundays at 9 pm ET on AMC.
