'Better Call Saul' season 2 news: Will Gustavo Fring be back?
Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould is an American television crime drama series is 'Better Call Saul'
Fans who are looking for a hint at what are the surprises in the next week's finale, then you may have to crack a code hidden in the episode of this season.
On Reddit, Twitter user @Sirena6783 is identified as the first to catch that when you take the first letter of each episode title - "Switch," "Cobbler," "Amarillo," "Gloves Off," "Rebecca," "Bali Ha'i," "Inflatable," "Fifi," "Nailed" and "Klick" - you get the letters S, C, A, G, R, B, I, F, N and K. Unscramble that, and here's what you get: "Fring's Back."
Fring's back? This would certainly be a reference to Gustavo Fring. Fring, played by Giancarlo Esposito who first employed and then terrorized Walter White during Seasons 2-4 of "Breaking Bad." Los Pollos Hermanos was founded in Mexico in the late '80s and would have been an established business in 2003 (with Fring's drug operation running along with it), reported the Indiewire. So Fring could very well reappear in "Better Call Saul."
The two reasons for Fring's reappearance would be, the title for next week's season finale - "Klick" - is deliberately misspelled...because the "K" would be necessary to complete the word "back"? Two, the "Breaking Bad" universe has always loved Easter eggs like this. (Buzzfeed)
"Saul" did successfully surprise with Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis) earlier this season, so sneaking Esposito back to Albuquerque is certainly not beyond the show's capabilities.
The excitement intensifies for the Season 2 finale. Fans of "Better Call Saul" would hope the cracked scramble "Fring's Back" comes true.
