Final Fantasy fans should fasten their seat belts! According to the producer of the Final Fantasy VII remake, there are some surprises stored for people who had played the game previously.

In an interview with Game Informed, Yoshinori Kitase talked about the changes that Square Enix is planning to bring in the game. In addition, Kitase also talked about what the team would be doing in the game and the scale of it.

Recently, there were rumors that Final Fantasy VII will come out in three thirty-hour chunks, a lot more than what a player is expected to complete. However, Kitase's response to the rumor suggests that it might not be true.

The producer said that Square Enix has an idea about how many instalments Final Fantasy VII Remake may actually consist of. Kitase further said that the stories are currently under development, but the team has a vision for how many instalments they wish to include.

Kitase further revealed that each instalment or segment of the game will be like a full game.

According to reports, Kitase has said that, "It will essentially be a full-scale game for each part of the multi-part series." "So, if we're just looking at each of these parts, one part should be at par with the scale of one Final Fantasy XIII game."

Square Enix has also decided to keep Final Fantasy VII Remake's battle system to be more like the Final Fantasy fighting game that was released in 2008, Final Fantasy Dissidia. Earlier there were rumors that it may resemble its original incarnation.

Finally, Kitase revealed that the Final Fantasy VII Remake will be nothing like what fans remember it to be. It will be filled with nostalgia and surprises for those who have previously played the game.
