Another television sensation is gradually drawing closer to its end and this time it's the most in-demand spectacle titled as The Vampire Diaries.

The supernatural-fantasy based drama has finally decided to take an abrupt termination, bidding farewell to the characters, slowly. Recollecting the latest speculations, Kat Graham has already made it public that she is on the verge of bidding farewell to her team members.

And of course, claiming it to be one of her most exceptional journeys, she asserts she was pleased to play Bonnie Bennett, as a very strong witch and also the best friend of the series protagonists.

The 26-year old maintains 'Season 8 will be my last season. I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me. 'If the crew can come with me, then we'll be good. The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family.'

And while Kat Graham has already stood steady on the series expiry, Ian Somerhalder has also done the same. Portraying himself as Damon Salvatore and also the love interest of Elena, he has declared that the Eight Season will be the very last one.

As per reports @WalkrStalkrCon. 'We have decided to do one last season to really do the story justice,' he told the crowd.

The popular CW based series will finally move towards its finale on May 13th, successfully wrapping up season 7. However, there are no official sources attesting and verifying the conclusion, but it might be very much accurate. So if the news is rock-solid, then we need to grab some tissues! Starting off with Nina Dobrev, who departed from the series in season 6, Kat Graham was the next to follow her.

And now, the lead, the heartthrob of the fantasy world has brought the news to the glare of publicity, probably dismaying plenty of fans for the days to come. May 13 will be the Day of Judgement for our loyal fans. Followed by another season, which will probably tie up all broken aspects of the series together, thus, rendering it to be ultimate sequence.
