Kdrama News: Kim Woo Bin and Suzy’s new drama “Uncontrollably Fond” to premier on July 6
KBS 2TV's new drama "Uncontrollably Fond" starred by Kim Woo Bin and Suzy will take the screen on July 6.
A representative from KBS confirmed "KBS 2TV's new Wednesday-Thursday drama, 'Uncontrollably Fond' will have its first broadcast on July 6."
On April 12, the production and team finished their filming of the said drama.
The drama is on the stage of wrapping up for their post-production. The two main leads announced its official airing of the first episode, introducing their quick preview of the characters they are playing.
Kim Woo Bin and Suzy previously confirmed its airing last June but it appears that it was being delayed by the production.
The filming began on November 26, 2015 at Kyungnam University in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam Province, South Korea.
Kim Woo Bin wrote on his fancafe last week, "This is Kim Woo Bin, who is currently living as Shin Joon Young [his character's name]. I am on my way to the beach to film the first scene of the day. Tomorrow all my scenes will have been filmed. As I have been living as Shin Joon Young, I kept wanting to thank my fans so I'm typing this on my phone right now. Thank you so much." (Soompi)
The actor Kim Woo Bin has been taking the scene as a supporting actor but to this drama, it will be his first leading role.
Kim Woo Bin will be playing as a top star. The actor mentioned in an interview that it's been difficult for him to portray his role. He added that 'I have not experience for being a Top Star so I think is difficult for me the convey the feeling as a Top Star in the drama'.
Suzy will then be playing as a documentary producer.
The story is centered to Shin Joon-young (Kim Woo-bin) and No Eul (Bae Suzy), a couple who got separated during their childhood due to an ill-fated relationship but meet again in later life.
The drama will be aired on KBS2 with the slot of Wednesday-Thursday at 10 pm (KST) starting on July 6 previously occupied by "The Master of Revenge".
