NFL News and Rumors: Johnny Manziel Living With Von Miller, 'We're Getting Our Life Together'
NFL news and rumors are now swirling around Johnny Manziel. The former NFL player reportedly told TMZ news that he is living with Von Miller. Now more news reports are saying that information is false.
"I'm living out here with my guy Von Miller," Manziel told TMZ in Las Vegas. "Everybody knows Von Miller. Super Bowl MVP, Von Miller. My brother. I'm living with him right now. We're getting our life together."
Yet another reporter, Mike Klis, tweeted that he spoke to a source who said otherwise.
"Talked to source close to Von Miller. Johnny Manziel is NOT living with Miller. Same city (L.A.). Not same home. #9news #9sports," the reporter tweeted.
The Inquisitor additionally revealed that Manziel commented on his image. Manziel is known for his drinking and partying image. Both he and Miller both played for the Texas A&M Aggies.
The former Cleveland Browns quarterback said that the reason both are living together is to get their lives back on track. Miller too was suspended in 2013 when he was found cheating on his drug test, but has managed to stay out of trouble since them. Though Miller seems to be doing pretty well recently leading the team to win the Superbowl and soon to become one of the highest paid NFL players.
Manziel is pretty confident that his priority is the NFL and to get on the Broncos, though the team reportedly doesn't have any plans to sign him, CBS Sports reported.
"So, the Broncos," Manziel said. "John Elway, great dude. Kubiak? Aggie, my man. Great organization. Anywhere I get picked up, bro, is a blessing. ... I want to play. That's the team I want to go to."
It's known that the Broncos have been looking for a quarterback, Fox Sports reports. A recent petition was created to bring back the popular Tim Tebow, who first played for the Broncos.
247 Sports reports, "The Broncos traded Tebow to the Jets in 2012. That happened only a few months after an unforgettable run where he led the Broncos to six straight wins and a stunning postseason victory over the Steelers. General manager John Elway ditched him only a few months after that, so it's safe to say the chances are slim that Tebow returns to Colorado."
