Lee Min-ho News: Actor Lee Min-ho in Malaysia for Kyochon launching

On March 25, Actor Lee Min-ho attended the official launching of Kyochon Restaurant in Malaysia.

The hallyu star was welcomed with many supporters in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur as the global ambassador of the South Korean chicken franchise Kyochon.

Attendance of the supporters were flooding for it was a great chance to witness the star. Despite the gloomy weather, fans still waited for the appearance of the actor.

It was a Meet and Greet sessions were lucky fans got an opportunity to meet and receive autographed calendars handed personally by the actor Lee Min-ho. It was then ended with a table-signing ceremony signed by Lee Min-ho. It will be displayed at the newly opened Kyochon branch in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

The actor was asked about the uniqueness of Kyochon chicken. Lee Min-ho then stated that Kyochon chicken indeed healthy, natural and 'sedap' (tasty). He then confessed that he really love fried chicken and is a fan of Kyochon since he was a little boy. He also shared his secret style of eating Kyochon chicken. It is mixing his favourite flavor, honey-flavoured series with Kimchi Fried Rice.

During the event, he thanked Kyochon for the opportunities of being able to meet and turned closer to his fans. He also thanked the fans who continuously supported him and the warm welcome they give. He also promised his return to the country.

Lee Min-ho was appointed as the official ambassador for the South Korean franchise since 2014. Since then the sales of the Lee Min-ho chicken have improved tremendously.

Founded in 1991 in South Korea, the fried chicken franchise has more than 1,000 stores all over the world, including China, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and the US.
