Kate Middleton Wows with her Dress Sense in US (Photos)
The recent three-day visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to the United States, which ended Tuesday, has generated a lot of interest in Kate Middleton's style and grace.
Known for her impeccable taste and class, Middleton carried her fashion sense across the seas despite being well in to her second trimester. The Duchess kept up with her social calendar, meeting children, attending high social dos and even a basketball game. Everywhere her unique dress sense was apparent.
She entered the Carlyle hotel in New York on the arms of her husband wearing a checked red and black shimmering tweed Seraphine coat with suede booties.
The princess was seen in a black goat coat with wide white piping at the neck and similar detailing at the wrists in her meeting with the children at Northside Center for Childhood Development in Harlem. The children there thought she was Princess Elsa from 'Frozen'
The princess was dressed in a pink Mulberry coat and wore black stiletto-heeled pumps on the couple's vist to the One World Trade Center September 11 Memorial & Museum. Later the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended an art performance at The Door/City Kids Foundation.
Interestingly, Kate Middleton and Prince William even met America's royal celebrity couple, Beyonce and Jay Z, at an NBA basketball game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Both were dressed a little casually with Kate again in a gray Tory Burch coat and tight black pants.Prince William received a jersey for Prince George from LeBron James backstage.
The Primness' crowning glory of the trip was her appearance at the Met to attend a gala celebrating the 600th anniversary of St. Andrew's, the couple's alma mater. She looked resplendent in a midnight blue Jenny Packham gown, which incidentally she has worn twice before. She had her hair tied up and wore emerald and diamond earrings.
