Riots break out in Ferguson, MO after shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown

Grief over the death of Michael Brown in the town of Ferguson, MO took a violent turn the night of Aug. 10 when crowds rioted, looting stores and clashing with police.

Social newtorks were flooded with images of heavily armed riot police sent to control the unruly crowds.

The rioters looted and burned stores and restaurants through out the area.

They appeared to have ripped open at least one ATM as well.

There were reports of gunfire and some of the rioters appeared to be armed.

The next day brought light to some of the damage Ferguson's business sustained. It also saw tense standoffs with the police.

Local news organization KMOV reported that 32 people were arrested while two police officers sustained injuries as a result of the chaos. Nearly 300 police officers from 15 departments around the state of Missouri were called into Ferguson in an effort to control the crowds.
