Riley Keough News Update: Elvis's Granddaughter Discusses Provocative Character in The Girlfriend Experience
Riley Keough, the 26 year old actress and granddaughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley is creating in stir in Hollywood. Famous for starring in "Magic Mike" and "mad Max: Fury Road", she is soon to take on the role of a young escort in Starz's "The Girlfriend Experience".
According to reports, Keough has provided insights into her provocative character recently. She went on to talk about her experience acting on the show at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.
Furthermore, she is said to have mentioned about how the role is not something one would imagine a lead actor to portray. She is allegedly playing a character who is canny, dominating and someone who likes sex, the sort a man would be seen depicting on screen. However, this according to her was fresh and was what got her interested in playing this very role.
The actress found it challenging to migrate roles from that of a law student to an escort.
She claims her number one obstacle was to be able to enact the physical scenes without having any emotional attachment for her co-actors. Nevertheless, she found it interesting how sex is associated with the physical aspect alone.
Keough confessed that she feels awkward knowing the fact that the men in her family would soon watch the show.
She revealed that she is reluctant to have them watch the program. However, she claimed to have already shown her mother, Lisa Marie Presley the show. Her mother is said to have liked it. The actress claims her mother being a fan of art and to be rather progressive.
"The Girlfriend Experience" is a series with 13 episodes which will be aired on Starz. The show is claimed to be based on the 2009 film directed by Steven Soderbergh and will debut on April 10.
