Grey’s Anatomy’s Sarah Drew Welcomes Second Child, a Girl
Grey's Anatomy star Sarah Drew welcomed her second child, a baby girl , Wednesday, December 3, almost three and a half weeks earlier than the expected date.
Sarah and her college lecturer husband Peter Lanfer have named her Hannah Mali Rose. The baby is doing fine and weighed 6lbs 14oz and measured 21 inches at birth, reports US Weekly. The couple have a 2-year-old son named Micah Emmanuel
"We are thrilled to welcome baby Hannah Mali Rose to our family," the delighted duo told Us. "Although we kept her gender a surprise until her birthday, Micah somehow knew she'd be a girl from the moment we told him we were pregnant. He is over the moon to be big brother to sweet Hannah."
The actress said that her co-stars in Grey's Anatomy were a great help with tips and suggestions. "I got great advice about nausea from Ellen Pompeo" said Drew when she was pregnant with Micah. "She's a wealth of information: She's done all the research and looked into every possible way of doing things."
"I've gotten some great advice from Jessica Capshaw, especially about the brand of Pampers I'm supposed to be using," she added. "And I had great advice from Chyler Leigh about breastfeeding."
Sarah Drew is presently playing Dr. April Kepner on ABC's hit drama Grey's Anatomy. But she attained recognition for her role as Hannah Rogers in the WB hit Everwood . She has also acted in films like Radio and Mom's Night Out.
