Tim Tebow News And Rumors Update: American Quarterback Talks About Playing For 'God's Team'

Tim Tebow enjoined 2,000 Northside Christian Church members in Fresno, California to play for 'God's Team'.

"On God's team, you are invaluable," the American quarterback exhorted.

According to the Fresno Bee, Tim Tebow quoted John 6:5-14 of the famous 'miracle of the loaves and fishes', where Jesus fed the multitude with just five barley loaves and two fishes supplied by a boy, to reinforce his message.

"Now you are just underestimating God. It didn't matter if he had one loaf and a half a fish, God could have still done the same with it," Tebow added as he dispelled doubts of people feeling unqualified to be used by God.

The Fresno Bee also reported that Tim Tebow shared personal stories about being God's instrument to help others. Tebow notably talked about that time after a game when the University of Florida's public relations team called his coach with the news that during that game, a record number of 94 million people Google searched for John 3:16, the particular passage he wrote on his eye black that night.

"What a big God that we serve. I'm out playing a silly game, and I put these things under my eyes and it's amazing what God can do," he added.

Tim Tebow, now an SEC sports analyst and a motivational speaker, was warmly welcomed by the Northside Christian Church community who braved the long queues for the Tim Tebow worship services on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

"I was so blessed to be there! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the work that went into bringing him here!" Elaine Greeley Force posted a comment at the NorthSide Christian Church Facebook page.

Another Northside Christian member, Valerie Salcedo, also expressed her glee online as she tweeted that she was "very honored and blessed to see Tim Tebow speak again in Fresno".

"Let the Lord use you in His mighty ways!" Salcedo added.
