KPOP NEWS: EXO’s Kai and f(x)'s Krystal confirmed their dating rumors
Kai of Exo and Krystal of f(x) have confirmed their relationship after a series of rumors of secret dating. The stars revealed their confirmation of their relationship on April 1st.
SM Entertainment, their agency, released an official statement saying "the two were close friends and began having feelings for each other this year."
According to Dispatch, the two were first spotted dating in February. They met quite often, despite how Kai was busy with EXO's world tour and Krystal was caught up with f(x)'s concert tour in Japan.
After returning from EXO's LA tour, Kai flew to Korea on Feb. 16. With two days until his flight to Chicago, Kai enjoyed a short date with Krystal. The two dined at a famous seafood restaurant known to be one of Krystal's favorite eating spots.
The couple is the second pair of artists under SM Entertainment to officially announce they are dating. EXO's Baekhyun and Taeyeon of Girls' Generation had dated for more than a year, but broke up in 2015.
Kim Jong-in or his stage name Kai is the face of the group EXO-K and one of their skilled dancers. He was cast into SM Entertainment after winning the company's Youth Best Contest in 2007.
He was the first memer of EXO-K to be introduced, and he is the most frequent member to make an appearance. He has an undying love for dance and is skilled in various genres of dance.
Jung Soo Jung or her stage name Krystal is maknae (the youngest in Korean language) of the girl group f(x). Krystal is a member with Korean-American Nationlaity. Krystal was born in in San Francisco, California on October 24th 1994. Krystal has a sister in the same group Jessica.
Krystal and her group debuted their first single "La Cha Ta" in September 2009.
