LA Lakers Rumors: Kobe Bryant Bribed teammates to Pass the Ball More to Him?
Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal got three championship rings together. However, they had many relationship issues while they were playing together as the Lakers. In 2002-2003 season they publicly didn't agree on how Shaq managed his injury.
Robert Horry said Kobe told teammates when Shaq was injured in 02-03 season that he would give his teammates Adidas gear if they passed the ball to him more.

Seems like the Adidas bribing offer have worked which boosted Bryant's average by 5.4 more field-goal attempts than O'Neal, which was the largest difference at the time (Bryant's previous high was 3.0 more than O'Neal in 2000-01). However, Horry claims he still didn't get the gears from Kobe.

Bryant led the NBA in points that year, scoring 2,461. It was the second-highest output of his whole career.
And obviously Kobe still thinks he is the most clutch Lakers player of all time. Check out the video below
