‘Pokémon GO!’ Release Date, News and Rumors: Pokémon Go Details Officially Out

In a recent news, the game publisher and the developer revealed some juicy details about their most awaited game. For the users to enjoy augmented reality, they will have to download the "Pokémon GO" app and set permissions. When the Pokémon is detected in the vicinity, your mobile phone will vibrate, just like a notification. When you open the app and tap the screen, it will throw a Pokéball. However, the success of its capture will depend on the level of Pokéball and how good the throw is. Even the item store is linked to augmented reality. Industry insider quotes that the develop is planning to make the PokéStops in appropriate places such as landmarks, monuments and museums.

John Hanke from Niantic Labs revealed that the Pokémon that the trainers are able to apprehend is dependent on its location. For example, Pokémon that is water-type can be captured in areas such as oceans, rivers and lakes. Water-type Pokémon can be spotted and captured in water areas like rivers, lakes and oceans. Pokémon that are grass-type can be found in captured in prairies, open spaces and other interesting spots.

He also teased that some type of Pokémon is good to catch for the trainers as they have a possibility of evolving. Not to mention that when captured repeatedly, it can add to experience points so that the trainers also have an option of leveling up.

"Pokémon GO" will also have multiplayer Gym-style battles like in the anime adaptation via an accessory called the "Pokémon GO Plus."

The augmented reality title is expected to launch later this. However, Japanese fans have already experienced the game in a field test beta that was initiated by Nintendo and Niantic this month. It is not known if the beta version will be released before the global release of the full version.
