Ferguson, MO police shoot and kill unarmed teenager Michael Brown
Police in Ferguson, MO have found themselves at the center of the international media's spotlight after the shooting death of unarmed teenager.
There are differing accounts of what happened, but the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has already called upon the federal government to launch an investigation, according to The Associated Press.
The victim was 18-year-old Michael Brown.

There are conflicting reports about what led to the shooting, but there is no disagreement that Brown was unarmed. Witnesses at the scene said that Brown was shot around ten times. The AP reports that a police source told a member of the NAACP that Brown was shot twice. The grieving community of Ferguson joined together for prayers and protests. They were met by hundreds of heavily armed police.

The police even brought out dogs and helicopters to intimidate protesters.
