The Walking Dead Season 6 Recap, Spoilers and Review: Did Daryl Die?

The sixth season of "The Walking Dead" has been full of twists and turns, but no one had imagined that the creator would deprive fans of their favorite hero Daryl, in the penultimate episode.

The producers must get ready for some major riot at the hands of the fans, if what we saw at the end, turns out to be true as per reports.

Right from the beginning, it seemed like a bloodbath was in the offing. With everything going haywire and Daryl's decision about helping Dwight backfiring, it wasn't any surprise to see the gang venture out to avenge Denise's death. But no one could ever think that the prime hunter of the gang would be shot by the Saviors.

Having realized his folly of helping Dwight (a stranger and the killer of Denise), Daryl is in no mood to forgive. In fact, he is devastated because Denise was killed with his crossbow, before his eyes. So, he goes after the killer with Rosita, Glenn and Michonne following suit. The trio does try to convince him to return to Alexandria, but the emotional guy that he is, Daryl is wreaked by guilt and has gone crazy.

Seeing the unstoppable and defiant gang leader, all three can't help but help him accomplish his mission, only to get trapped by the Saviors. And the worst nightmare comes true as Daryl is shot with a gun, and blood spilling on the screen before going blank.

So, what does the finale have in store? Is Daryl really dead? What will the menacing Negan do to him? How will the trio escape from the clutches of their enemy?

With only the wounded Carol out in the open to spring a surprise, after having done considerable harm to the Saviors with her jacket gun, it is literally going to be an excruciating wait for the fans of the horror drama, till the finale airs.
