Jennifer Lopez News: Singer Talks About Divorce With Marc Anthony; Says It's Her 'Biggest Disappointment'

In time of Shades of Blue season finale, Jennifer Lopez takes the spotlight again, this time being asked about her personal life, particularly on her feelings towards exes Marc Anthony and Ben Affleck.

In an interview with People, the 44-year old actress revealed about her failed marriage with singer Marc Anthony saying it is 'the biggest disappointment of my life so far.'

"I think both Marc and I thought at the time we would be together for the next 40 years until we die," she further said.

The mother-of-two also revealed that she lost some of herself in trying hard to save the marriage that in the end, she felt that the divorce is still the right decision for her.

"I had been married twice before and I didn't want this to be a failure ... I just put all my heart and soul into that and forgot who I was as an individual a little bit."

She also talked about her relationship with Ben Affleck whom she dated since 2002 only to have their engagement broken in 2003.

Despite the failed relationship, JLo still thinks it was real love that time.

"I think different time different thing, who knows what could've happened, but there was a genuine love there," she said.

Ben and Jennifer's relationship came up in time of the birth of the tabloids who made them center of attention being named as 'Bennifer.'

"We didn't try to have a public relationship. We just happened to be together at the birth of the tabloids, and it was like, 'Oh my God.' It was just a lot of pressure," she revealed.

Weeks after the engagement was called off, the singer moved on a few weeks later in a new relationship with Marc Anthony whom she married months after. They bear twins, Max and Emme. Ben Affleck, on the other hand, dating his Daredevil co-star Jennifer Garner whom he married for 10 years until their divorce last June.

Meanwhile, even if JLo has been very careful with her comments about the Batman vs Superstar actor, her answer hinted that he has an evil side that the public did not know.

"I felt like ... 'Okay, this is it', but sometimes I feel like what you think people are and how you see them when you love them is different than when they reveal later," she shared.

It can be remembered way back 2003, Jennifer Lopez blamed the media's intrusion in her personal life as the cause of her breakup with Ben Affleck.

Shades of Blue will have its season finale on March 31.
