Sense8' Season 2 Release Date and Casting Rumors: It Might Premiere Next Year
If you thought that "Sense8" is going to be removed from the popular streaming platform Netflix, you can listen to this good news from the California-based company on its renewal last August, via its Twitter account. A video clip announced the release, in which the cast expressed their birthday greetings.
The crew of the sci-fi drama were found shooting in Berlin recently. A German news site Morgen Post showed the filming of some scenes in the middle of thick snow in Hohenzollerndamm in Berlin, Germany.
Korean actress Bae Doo-na, acting as vice president of a Korean firm and an underground kickboxer called Sun Bak, talked about her character when the show returns. She explained to The Korean Herald: "Sun Pak, who was put in prison for taking her brother's crime upon herself, will return stronger than ever in season two."
Admitting that there was a language barrier, she visited United Kingdom to learn everyday English. She admitted that she had to "act instinctively in Korean" but speak in English. Thanking the Wachowski directors for enhancing her confidence, she says that she feels stronger now while working for the second season, according to ecumenical news.
The team shot some scenes in Chicago and will return this coming June. The shoot will spill over till October or even after that, hence, season 2 may premiere even next year.
