Gregg Popovich will certainly go down as one of NBA's best coaches ever but the basketball world will probably remember him more for his humorous exchanges with the sports media.

San Antonio's Pop just simply amplified his signature off-court humor in his postgame scrum with reporters following Spurs' methodical blowout of Miami Heat in 112-88 astounding victory.

The Popovich-Marjanovic coach-player dynamic will certainly be listed as one of media's top favorites. After strong-arming Heat with 19 points in the game, Pop just can't help messing around with reporters about the 'selfish' rookie player.

"He's one of the most selfish players I've ever been around. He shot it every time he touched it. It's incredible. I think he should apologize to his teammates for being so greedy. He just wanted to get his name in the paper," Pop jokingly remarked with his diabolical smirk on his face as quoted by UPI.

Pop's 7-foot-3 big man from Serbia is certainly Spurs' ultimate weapon of choice when gunning rivals on hardcourt. As reported by Hoops Hype, Marjanovic's 19-points in less than 14 minutes of playing time on the court just made him stranger than fiction- he was never shy of shooting the ball when he touches it.

Meanwhile, San Antonio Spurs recently announced on March 22 that they had recalled center Boban Marjanovic and forward Jonathan Simmons from the franchise's NBA Development League Affiliate, Austin Spurs as reported on NBA's official website. Sending the two rookies to the D-League was intended to immerse the neophytes in the Spurs' System.

In his three-game stint with Austin, Marjanovic posted an average 23.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 blocks in 26.4 minutes. Simmons, on the other hand, had an average record of 16.0 points, 3.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 34.6 minutes over four games with the D-League affiliate.
