Nina Dobrev dating news: Vampire Diaries Star Dumps Tim Tebrow For Ian Somerhalder?
Vampire Diaries star and Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow reportedly started a fleeting romance after their appearance on Lip Sync Battle. Their steamy guesting could have lead to secret dating that most people were speculating but the latest roundup from rumor land suggests an end to the fling.
As reported by Sportsrageous, the actress reportedly ditched Tebow so she can put more time and energy on her acting career. Currently, there are more headlines of her dating status than her career as a professional actress.
Some observers think that Dobrev's recent career progress just makes quite difficult to maintain a relationship with the Broncos quarterback.
"Nina is very serious for her role and wants to concentrate solely on her acting career at the moment. She doesn't want any distractions along the way and her link with Tim Tebow might be causing that," Youth Health Mag reported.
Meanwhile, Dobrev is reportedly mulling on going back to The CW network to take the role of Tatia Petrova in The Originals cast with the hope of raising the TV series ratings currently plunging to less than a million viewers per episode.
If she does join The Originals series, she and ex-flame Ian Somerhalder may start all over again even after their breakup nearly four years ago. Hollywood insiders have been saying that both still have feelings for each other. A surprising twist to their love story may even result to Somerhalder divorcing his wife Nikki Reed.
"Ian may be a married man, but if Nina were to show even the slightest interest in rekindling the romance, Ian would probably dump Nikki Reed as quickly as possible. After all, Ian married Nikki on the rebound from his breakup with Nina," Inquistr reported.
In another development, Dobrev is slated to play the character Rebecca in the 2017 action film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage which has just started filming in Toronto according to a report by Celebrity Dirty Laundry. So far, the movie with Vin Diesel is the major blockbuster role she has since leaving The Vampire Diaries.
