Song Joong-Ki News: ‘Descendants of the Sun’ Enters U.S. and Song Hye-kyo Denies Dating Rumors
The recent KBS2 TV drama starring Song Joong-Ki "Descendants of the Sun" has become the most popular TV series lately.
According to Viki, video-streaming site, it has been searched the most among other TV seriers. The show also scored extremely high scoring which is 9.7 out of 10.
The drama also stars actress Song Hye-kyo and the drama has 16 episodes.
Recently there's been a dating rumor between Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye-kyo. However, on Monday she denied rumours that she is dating co-star Song Joong Ki, 30. Her agency said: "Song Joong Ki is her good colleague with whom she's done a TV series together."
According to the report, there's another rumor regarding the actress and a politician who remained unnamed also went viral online. The actress's agency said they will take legal action against the one who started the rumors.
"This rumor has already proven false by the police three years ago. We have commissioned an investigation. There will be no leniency," the actress's agency said according to Yonhap News.
The drama is now available with subtitles in 33 different languages, including English, Chinese and Spanish.
"Descendants Of The Sun" airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 p.m. KST on KBS.
Song Joong-Ki also has taken over Lee Min-ho in popularity in China lately as well through this TV drama series.
