Justin Bieber News Update: Cancels Meet-And-Greet Saying It Makes Him Exhausted And Depressed
Justin Bieber's Instagram post this week sent his fans in a frenzy as the hit maker announced that he is cancelling all meet-and greet sessions in the future including those with already-sold tickets.
"I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people's spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy. Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression. The pressure of meeting people's expectations of what I'm supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulders. Never want to disappoint but I feel I would rather give you guys the show and my albums as promised," the singer said in a lengthy post.
He ended it with a line that implies the irrevocability of his decision. "Can't tell you how sorry I am, and wish it wasn't so hard on me.. And I want to stay in the healthy mindset I'm in to give you the best show you have ever seen ;)."
TMZ said that Bieber's sudden change of mind is prompted by a scary incident on Monday night when he was interacting with concertgoers. The moment rise up to its critical point when a female fan, who was previously put in the 'watchlist' of Biebs security team, go beyond the line and came ten feet closer from him.
The Sorry hit maker reportedly had bad experiences before-having his hair pulled, his clothes ripped or catching the flu. But last Monday's incident is said to have made Bieb's scared.
Because of the incident, the hit maker's team is also considering cancelling one-on-one meet exclusive meetups with fans in Las Vegas.
Justin's decision also came in when there were at least 20 people who purchased 1-on-1 packages, and up to 200 others paid for a group meet-and-greet.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber is slated to be in the UK in October. He is scheduled to have gigs in Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield and Glasgow after his opening the tour with six nights at The O2 in London.
