Duggar Family News and Updates: Jana Eager To Get Married; Wants To Date A Hardworking Man
The Duggar family will be back soon in TLC for more another spinoff of Jill And Jessa Counting On. But unlike the previous episodes, the upcoming show will focus on Jana Duggar, the eldest sister of Jim Bob and Michelle's family who remained single even with the weddings of her younger sisters, Jill and Jessa.
A report said that the Jana-centered episode is expected to focus on Jana and the issues surrounding her single life and her search for a man. Also, the 26-year old Duggar may also talk about her feelings being stuck at home as two of her sisters did not move out even after their marriage.
Named Cinderella of the Duggars, Jana has been giving herself selflessly to her family, taking care of her siblings and doing the chores of the house but she never talked about men.
"I want dirt under the nails," Jana told her sister Jessa while they are engaged in a DIY project while the family visits Jill and Derick who are on a mission in Latin America.
"When it comes to getting something done, you gotta get Jana involved," Jessa answered.
Jana's interaction with Jessa is part of the episode entitled, Date Night And Bright Light. Also in the episode is feature Jessa and Ben's first ever date after they have their first child, Spurgeon.
As described, Jana is reserved and would always "sit in the background" as she spend most of her time helping chores with her parents. She was also the type who does not hang out with kids of her age and would prefer to stay indoors.
Now that her sisters are married, the Cinderella Duggar reportedly feels left-out in the house without a husband.
Going back when the Duggars are still young, a source said that Jana Duggar is never shy and is, in fact, rowdy and outgoing.
"Jana used to be very outgoing. Whenever she was younger, she was very rowdy," John-David said.
The Duggars did not know what prompted Jana's change of behavior. However, sources are considering that the change happened after the 26-year old attended a Christian camp called Journey to the Heart facilitated by Bill Gothard who was earlier shunned for reported sexual harrassment among younger women of the Ministry. The camp also uses brainwashing technique which left participants depressed in the end.
