Prince William And Kate Middleton Relationship News Updates: Duchess’ Absence On St. Patrick’s Day Stirs Divorce Rumors
Prince William and Kate Middleton were not together during the annual celebration of St. Patrick's Day last week which made the public curious if the Royal couple is in good terms and has considered divorce.
Kate Middleton is known for her devotion for the saint in such a way that she still attended the 2013 ceremony of passing out sprigs of clover to the members of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards even when she was heavily pregnant with her first child, Prince George. In 2015, the Duchess also attended the ceremony that falls under her eight-month pregnancy for Princess Charlotte.
But this year she was nowhere to be seen during the festival. A report said that the Duchess could be just busy that day driving her son, Prince George in his preschool at St. Paddy's Day and travelling from Anmer Hall to Norfolk may take a lot of time. Also, the source speculated that Middleton is working on another charity project benefitting the East Anglia's Children's Hospice.
But amidst these reasons, the media is looking into the possibility that the Royal couple is not in speaking terms and would head for a divorce soon. The split is said to have sprung from Middleton's change of lifestyle preferences-from the thrifty commoner to an extravagant, lifestyle of a Royal family member.
The lavish lifestyle has caused some financial mismanagement. The couple is also recently slammed for their latest weekend skiing trip even with the recent unreasonable payment cuts imposed to their employees making their wages below poverty line.
Kensington Palace has not yet spoken about the rumors but one thing is certain, Kate Middleton's absence during St. Patrick's Day is a breach of the 115-year old tradition and the public is frustrated.
"I feel disappointed - if the Royals start breaking with good traditions then I'm not sure what they're there for," a source said.
Meanwhile, it was said that Kate Middleton's absence is really because of family matters. Mainly, she wants to spend more time with kids before she and Prince William will have their trips to India and Bhutan which means spending a lot of time away from their brood.
"Until Kate goes on tour to India and Bhutan in four weeks, she'll be spending all her time with the kids. Don't expect to see many public duties from her," a source said.
