Apple Event 2016 News: Where to Watch Live Stream Online and Where?

By Staff Reporter - 21 Mar '16 08:48AM

The anticipated Apple Event will be on March 21. Many are waiting for all the details from the company on its latest gadgets.

For those are looking forward to tune into the event, it will be streamed online on Apple's website, 10AM PDT, 1PM EDT. However, not all devices and software will be able to stream the event. Viewers must have specific software installed and the right devices.

According to CBS, the Apple Event could be viewed on all iPhones, iPads, or iPod Touches on Safari 7.0 or later. Those with a Mac can watch it with Safari 6.0.5 or later and OS X 10.8.5 or later. PC users can watch it with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. For the Apple TV, viewers can open it on the free "Apple Events" app, but on second or third generation with software 6.2 or later or on the fourth generation, states Gadgets 360.

Apple states that the reason for the specific requirements are due to using Apple's HTTP Live streaming technology (HLS) for the live streaming.

Many are wondering what special announcements the tech company will make. PC Advisor claims that hopeful news will be made about the iPhone SE, iPad Air 3, Apple Watch straps.

The iPhone SE is to have a 4in screen for those who aren't for the bigger screen on previous iPhone models. For the iPad Air 3, the word is that the device is also nicknamed "iPad Pro mini" due to the similar features it shares with the iPad previously released, such as the smart connector, four speakers, and the same core specs. While the Apple Watch is rumored to just release new bands for the wrist gadget, not a new model.

Though many are eagerly awaiting to hear updates on the iPhone 7, announcements at the event are doubtful. The same goes for the Apple Watch 2 and the Retina Macbook Air, though Australia Network expects an announcement on a new Macbook Pro.

Be sure to check out the Apple Event streaming today to get the latest details on which Apple products will be launched in the near future.
