Fast and Furious 8' Spoilers, News and Casting Rumors: What Super Car Will Get Destroyed This Time
Fast Furious 8 promises to be a box office hit with testosterone-filled scenes of speedy autos, luxury cars, and a lineup of big shot cast.
The filming of the eight installment of the popular movie franchise is set to commence any time soon and is expected to complete in 8 months' time.
According to a Christian Today report, 7 Impreza units donated by Subaru for the preceding film were reportedly transported to the Scandinavian nation. In addition, the ensemble of cars may also include top-of-the-line models like the Rally Fighters and Lamborghini Murcielagos as well as a number of Dominic Toretto's (Vin Diesel) preferred American muscle cars.
Although much of the details of the franchise remain scarce, online spoilers are starting to hit the news. As reported by Crossmap, Toretto's gang is set for an action-packed reunion as they face off the villainous Deckard Shaw who escaped from a maximum security prison after his capture in the previous movie installment.
On the other hand, Yibada reported that Charlize Theron will assume the role of the main villain in the movie. Taking over Paul Walker's role in the sequel is his brother Cody.
As for the cast, Vin Diesel returns to the screen as the alpha male Dominic Toretto. Jason Statham and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will also reprise their roles as Deckard Shaw and Hobbs respectively. Also coming back for the 8th film are actors Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Robert Pralgo, Steve Coulter, and Viktor Hernandez according to a Movie News Guide report.
So far, only Michelle Rodriguez is confirmed to resume her role as Letty Ortiz. Unconfirmed reports also suggest that Eva Mendes might be in the lineup.
The movie is expected to hit the theaters on April 14 next year. The sequel is actually the beginning of a trilogy which ends with the 10th installment- the last of box office franchise.
