In a recent news, Apple confirmed that it will organize a stand-alone event on March 21 that they will call Infinite Loop. On this day, it is expected that the company will unveil some of its highly anticipated products such as MacBook Pro.

Apple is yet to announce a list of products that it plans to launch on its March 21 event. So it is not confirmed whether MacBook Pro will be launched or not.

MacWorld UK says that it is possible that MacBook doesn't make an entry on March 21 at all. Rumors are rife that Apple will most likely use this platform to launch small mobile devices and it doesn't look like a stage for the most awaited laptop of the year. It is also possible that new MacBooks will only be unveiled at the annual Apple event, WWDC, that happens mid-year.

Industry insiders further speculate that even if there is a MacBook related promotion happening at the event, it will most likely be the updates for its laptop lineup rather than a new laptop.

However, there are experts who point out that mid-year launch for new MacBook may not be such a good idea. Yibada adds that Apple has released MacBook has had early releases in the past so it is possible to see a new MacBook next week. In fact, with multiple launches planned, Apple may release one next week and the other launches by the middle and then towards the end of 2016, completing the lineup.

Another hint that points towards an early release of MacBook is the end of obsolete models. Cupertino-based company recently announced that they will stop support for 17-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro as well as Xserve from 2009.
