Anna Duggar News: Reality Star Visits Josh Duggar After Three Long Months
When TLC's "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" premiered on Tuesday night, Anna Duggar had revealed what happened when visiting Josh Duggar for the first time in 3 months.
"It's been about three months and I haven't seen him," Anna said about still-husband Joshua.
"He had accounts set up on websites that were set up specifically for having an affair and cheating on your spouse, and it was just feeling like your world instantly shattered," she explained. "How? Where? Why? Just all of those questions running through your mind. It was overwhelming."
In August, Josh Duggar publicly apologized about having a pornographic addition and cheating on his wife Anna. Soon after, he was admitted into a Christian treatment center, when their newborn was just a month old.
Anna told the cameras, "This was a situation that didn't just happen overnight. It was a long process getting to where we were so we felt that something long-term would be helpful and probably the best situation for our family."
She admitted that one difficult moment each day is recalling all the precious memories that happened that day.
"At the end of the day, when I think about all of the fun and the special events that happened that day, it's really sweet, but it's different because I'm thinking about it by myself. Normally that would be when Josh and I were talking about the events of the day, and so it is hard that we miss it, and we're not able to enjoy life together."
Anna revealed that her goal is to follow the advice of her pastor: to do the next right thing for the next 15 minutes.
The cameras didn't record the visit, but the mom of four revealed the details at a family feast hosted by Jessa.
"This visit was great because it definitely gives a lot of hope, but I think also the weight of everything is also there, and so definitely it drives me deeper to my faith," Anna shared. "God's grace can give me the strength to love Josh when others would say he doesn't deserve it."
