Ben Carson is endorsing Donal Trump the former presidential candidate announced on Friday.

Carson, who dropped out of the race last week, stood by his stance by describing how there are "two different" Trumps.

"There are two different Donald Trumps," Carson said at the Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. "There's the one you see on the stage and there's the one who is very cerebral, sits there and considers things very carefully. You can have a very good conversation with him. That's the Donald Trump that you're going to start seeing more and more of."

Many wondered how he could support Trump after all the criticism. To that, Carson answered, "We buried the hatchet. That was political stuff. We move on."

Trump shared with CNN Thursday night about ways that Carson is going to help him. The main focus is in education. The real estate mogul stated, "I'm going to have Ben very involved with education, something that's an expertise of his...We spoke for over an hour on education. And he has such a great handle on it."

"Having his support totally gives credence to what I do," he concluded.
