Jennifer Garner Opens Up About Ben Affleck Divorce: 'He's The Love Of My Life'
Jennifer Garner indulges a tell-all story of her divorce with estranged husband, Ben Affleck months after they declared their split a day before their 10th anniversary on June last year.
During the interview, the Alias actress declared that the marriage is real and not 'fake' in a way that Ben and her three kids are her priority, People reported.
Also, she shared that despite the rumors after their split, she still and will always feel something special for the Batman actor.
"I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him. And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can't have these three babies and so much of what we had. He's the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He's just a complicated guy. I always say, 'When his sun shines on you, you feel it.' But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold. He can cast quite a shadow," she shared.
The Miracles From Heaven actress also addressed rumors alleging the actor to have an affair with their nanny, Christine Ouzounian.
"We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes," she said.
So how did she survive in her divorce from her nine-year old marriage? The actress, revealed that she called her friends, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in her loneliest nights.
"When I can't sleep -- and I am not someone who typically has that problem, but I really have in the last year -- and I need something to switch my brain off, it has been Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. God bless those girls," Garner said as mentioned by Yahoo.
Meanwhile, Ben Affleck is seen attending the William Morris Endeavors' pre-Oscar party a day after Jennifer Garner's controversial tell-all to Vanity Fair. During the party, Ben is seen sharing a friendly hug with close pal, Matt Damon, Hollywood Life reported.
"They were very engaged with each other and looked very happy to be hanging out like old friends that didn't skip a beat. Ben did not seem like he was in the party mode but Matt was smiling a lot. Ben was more into just seeing Matt and catching up. When they first saw each other, they gave a man hug filled with love," a source said.
