Nick Cannon Not Ready To Date Yet After Mariah Carey Divorce

Nick Cannon wants to have more me-time and is not ready to date yet almost a year after divorcing from ex-wife Mariah Carey.

"I haven't figured it out yet. I just don't think I'm ready to date yet," the America's Got Talent host told the press during the DuJour magazine party held especially for his cover story as mentioned in Enstarz.

"It's funny because my next film that I'm writing is all about online dating so I'm learning about it. It's so intriguing to me but I have yet to jump into that pool. But it's the new wave so I'm not against it," he further said.

Cannon filed for a Divorce from the songstress in December 2014 and since then, he has been linked to several women in Hollywood--model Jessica White, Amber Rose and Nicole Murphy.

"I don't know if I would say it was hard. It's more of just adjusting and adapting, as we all do as we get older. You're living life. I have really learned to value private time, I've been deep in meditation and getting to know myself," he said.

But one thing that sources are certain, Cannon has been spending a lot of time parenting their twins-Monroe and Morrocan as shown in his social media posts.

In one of his latest posts, the father-of-two posted a snap with Mariah and his mom Beth Gardner. The picture is said to be taken during the songstress' last days in her Las Vegas residency, according to Daily Mail.

"Nice Happy Family Day!!! @MariahCarey #RocandRoe #Moms," he captioned the photo.

During the interview, he spoke about co-parenting with Mariah and said he is proud of himself for doing a good job.

"I think we're doing a fairly good job keeping them well-rounded, showing them the remarkable things in the world but also letting them understand that they're just normal 4 year olds," he said as mentioned in ABC News.

As for Mariah Carey, she is happily engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer and has been seen sporting her diamond sparkler in her shows. Since her relationship with the gaming mogul, she was also seen teeming with jewelries, one of them is a butterfly-shaped sparkler, a pair of teardrop earrings and a bracelet.

News on the wedding date is still underway as the two have not formalized the divorce from their respective houses.
