Los Angeles Clippers Blake Griffin has been the center of numerous trade rumors after he injured his right hand in an off-court fight with a team employee. These rumors, however, have been put to rest by head coach Doc Rivers.

While speaking with the media on Tuesday, Rivers stated that the Clippers have no plans to trade their All-Star power forward despite reports that the team feels the need to move on from Griffin.

Griffin has also addressed the media about the fight on Tuesday. He once again apologized to the Clippers' organization, his family and the fans. He said that he regrets his decision and that he believes his relationship with Matias Testi, who he has talked to multiple times, is salvageable. Griffin added that he does not think he needs to attend anger management classes.

Griffin has gotten into a physical altercation with Testi, the Clippers' equipment manager, during a team trip to Toronto last month. Griffin, who was already dealing with an injured left quadriceps tendon ended up fracturing his shooting hand.

The Clippers punished Griffin with a four-game suspension without pay, which will be enforced once he is active. His lost salary, which amounts to $859,442, will be donated to charity.

Rivers had said during the announcement of the suspension that he is happy the situation had been dealt with.

"It's just nice to have it over with, and now we can kind of move on," Rivers said according to ESPN. "Obviously, we don't get Blake back yet -- we have a lot of games before that -- and we have to keep trying to get through that. But that [punishment] part of it is over with, and now we can get back to kind of repairing our team."

The Clippers have not stated when Griffin will be returning from his injury.

The Clippers (35-18) are 18-5 without Griffin, who has been sitting out since Dec. 26.
