Kanye West Declares He Is In Debt After Dropping New Album, Life of Paulo
Kanye West spat some very controversial line on Twitter before performing at Saturday Night Live as he finally dropped his long-overdue album, Life of Paulo.
"I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt... Please pray we overcome... This is my true heart..." he wrote on Twitter on Saturday as mentioned in KTLA 5.
The publication is skeptical whether the rapper is telling the truth or just performing his usual antics of half-meant statements in social media as he also mentioned last year that he is $16 million short in launching his clothing line.
Last week, he also posted some controversial tweet believing that Bill Cosby is innocent. And lately, he is also calling the attention of Mark Zuckerberg to finance his project for $1 billion claiming that he is 'the greatest' musician in the world.
"Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas," he wrote.
The 38-year old hit maker was also slammed for including a 'misogynistic' line in his song Famous which calls out to Taylor Swift calling her a bitch.
"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous," he wrote.
Earlier, he wrote on Twitter that the songstress gave him permission to include that line.
"3rd thing I called Taylor and had a hour long convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings," he wrote as mentioned in CNN.
However, a rep from Taylor's camp slammed Kanye's statement saying that the songstress did not give her permission to do so.
"Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that bitch famous.'"
Meanwhile, on SNL, West gave his fans a sample of tracks found in his new album that is now available exclusively in Tidal. In the show, her performed "Ultra Light Beams" (with Chance the Rapper, Kirk Franklin, The-Dream, Kelly Price and a gospel choir) and "High Lights" (with Young Thug, The-Dream, Price and El DeBarge), Billboard reports.
On Sunday, he persuaded his fans to subscribe to Tidal while dropping a brain-wracking decision of not selling his album for another week.
Kim Kardashian also supported his husband by tweeting "Everyone Go get #TheLifeOfPablo."
Some of her fans, however, do not want to get a subscription of the music streaming site and were frustrated to be answered by an audio message by Yasiin Bey in Kanye West's site.
