Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Unveils New Matching Tattoos
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt added new matching tattoos to their existing inks said to have reflected the actress' fondness for Oriental philosophy and her wish to have love and prosperity in marriage.
In pictures shown by Pop Sugar, the 41-year old actress-director were seen with her new ink while she was working on her upcoming Netflix film, First They Killed My Father in Cambodia on Friday. This is her newest tattoo that followed one in her forearm that she debuted in December 2015 at the Cambodia Film Festival.
And that's not all, Brad also has his new set of tats said to be a Buddhist symbol of the binding of husband and wife, Mail Online said.
Both Brad and Angie's new tattoo are from the same master tattoo artist, Ajarn Noo Kanpai, who is behind other tattoos in the actress' body.
The Thai artist's works are distinctive as he used the traditional hand-poked method of tattooing with the use of bamboo and a sterilized needle in tattooing.
Jolie's tattoos use Thai numbers and symbols. Her earlier tattoo on her left shoulder are said to contain the ha thaew (five rows) yantra symbols.
"Angelina is a very spiritual person and has long believed her tattoos are more than just designs on her body - that they actually hold some meaning, power and influence over her," a source said as quoted by Parent Herald.
Brad's ink also contain the phrases, "We live, we die, we know not why, but I'll be with you" and have come from his wife's own writing.
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie is rumored to be planning to film a Celine Dion biopic and her relationship with her late husband, Rene Angelil. It was said that the actress had already approached the songstress about the idea.
