Buffalo Bills LeSean McCoy is reportedly being investigated over an alleged assault of two off-duty officers that occurred at a nightclub in Philadelphia, multiple media outlets are reporting.

According to CSNPhilly.com, the running back and three other men got into a physical altercation with an officer over an argument about a bottle of champagne at Recess Lounge.

Officers Darnell Jessie, Roland Butler and Sergeant Daniel Ayers, who were all off-duty, reportedly bought four bottles of champagne when one of the men with McCoy, former NFL player Tamarcus Porter, attempted to take a bottle, thinking it had belonged to him.

Butler and Porter then got into an argument that led to a fight, which involved McCoy, ex-NFL player Curtis Brinkley and Christopher Henderson. The four men reportedly kicked and punched Porter before Jessie stepped in with security guards to diffuse the situation. All of the men were thrown out of the club.

The police statement revealed that Butler went to Delaware County Memorial Hospital where he received treatment for a broken nose, broken ribs and a sprained thumb. Jessie also sought out treatment at Hahnemann Hospital. He received eight stitches over his left eye and is getting treatment for a possible skull fracture.

The official statement did not name McCoy as one of the men who attacked the Butler and Jessie. The statement did say that the alleged suspects "are reported to be members of the national Football League," USA TODAY Sports reported.

It is unclear whether or not McCoy was injured in the fight. The Bills did release a statement saying that they were aware of the situation.
